Ø   in the world commemorative coins are introduced in united states in the year 1893. In India the journey of these coins was begin in the year 1964. the term commemorative means to recall an event or to give respect to a person. In India the first commemorative coin which was featuring the portrait of India’s first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru who had served India from 15 of august 1947 to until his death may 1964. The coin features portrait of Jawaharlal Nehru on one rupee and 50 paisa coin. This coin was issued in the year 1964 after his death to commemorate his services India as prime minister. At the present these coins were featuring the important events, birth centenary, great personality persons, scientists, poets and temples of India. Now some of the coins are birth centenary of father of nuclear physics DR Homi Jehangir Bhabha, first Indian poet who was awarded for his book renowned spiritual writings ‘GitanjaliRabindranath Tagore, Acharya Tulsi and one hundred of RSS. About the coin – the present name of India’s parliament is the parliament house of india. the new building is used for regular meeting. The old Parliament building of India, now known as Samvidhan bhavan   (Constitution House), is a historic, circular, sandstone structure in New Delhi inaugurated in 1927. Designed by British architects Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker, it served as the center of Indian democracy for 96 years before being replaced in 2023.  is called samvidhan bhavan and it is the birth place of Indian constitution and it is planned to preserve the museum of India’s heritage. The head of house of parliament of india is the president of India and the chairman is vice president of India. the word Sansad originated from Sanskrit language “Sam” means   sitting together and “sad” means assembly. It is located at new Delhi of India. it is supreme legislature body comprising the president and two legislative body. the two legislative bodies are Lok Sabha [Lowerhouse], Rajya Sabha [upper house]. The Lok Sabha [Lowerhouse] consists of house of people maximum of 552 members are elected once in five years period. The Rajya Sabha [upper house] the council of states, it is permanent body of the parliament and twelve members are nominated by the president. The speaker of Lok Sabha is shri om Birla and speaker of Rajya Sabha is C. P. Radhakrishnan. the Indian government issued the coin to celebrate the six decades old milestone of house of  Indian parliament
