Propaganda & Royal Authority: In ancient Rome and Greece, coins were "silent ambassadors". Rulers used them to broadcast military victories, showcase their divine blessing from the gods, or announce a new emperor's coronation to a wide, mobile audience.

INDIA’S FIRST COMMEMORAVITE COIN AND PIVOTAL TIME CAPSULE. IT WAS ISSUED BY THE INDIAN GOVERNMENT IN THE YEAR 1964 TO HONOR THE VALUABLE SERVICES BY INDIA’S FIRST pm JAWAHARLAL NEHRU. HE WON THRICE AS A PM IN ELECTIONS I.E. FROM 1952-1957,1957-62 AND 1962-64 AND LATER HE WAS DIED ON 27TH MAY 1964. HIS BIRTHDAY (NOV14) IS CELEBRATED AS CHILDREN’S DAY. THE MAIN REASON TO CELEBRATE HIS BIRTHDAY AS CHILDREN’S DAY TO REMEMBER HIM AS CHACHA NEHRU. THE BOOKS WRITTEN BY NEHRU ARE “THE DISCOVERY OF INDIA”, “GLIMPSE OF THE WORLD” AND HIS FAMOUS AUTO-BIOGRAPHY TOWARDS FREEDOM. HE WAS CONSIDERED AS THE ARCHITECT OF INDIA BECAUSE HE ESTABLISHED PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM AND SECULAR IDENTITY AND INDUSTRIAL INFRASTRUCTURE. HE STARTED A CONCEPT OF FIVE-YEAR PLAN TO DEVELOP THE INDIA. THE FIRST 5 YEAR PLAN WAS FROM 1951-56. THE MAIN MOTTO IS TO DEVELOP AGRICULTURE AND IRRIGATION, THE SECOND FIVE YEAR PLAN FROM 1956-61, THE MOTTO IS TO DEVELIOP INDUSTRIES, THE THIRD FIVE YEAR PLAN FROM 1961-66 AND ITS MOTTO WAS TO DEVELOP SELF GENERATED ECONOMY. Later, in 1990 the five-year plan to develop reduce poverty. Next in 2015, the concept of five-year plan was replaced as “Niti Aayog”. So, Indian government released this coin to commemorate 100th birth anniversary.
